Marta Urbano

Consultant

Marta provides strategic advice in the political, regulatory and social fields to companies in the digital sector.

Before joining Vinces, Marta did a traineeship at the Subdirectorate General for Legislative and Regulatory Affairs of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, and has worked for the legal and institutional relations departments of various human rights organizations at the national and european level, notably Women´s Link Worldwide and Global Human Rights Defense (GHRD). Moreover, she has worked in the communication department of a sustainability consultancy focused on the Sustainable Development Goals.

During her masters´ studies, she participated as researcher in a policy lab with the Directorate-General for Research and Innovation at the European Commission on the project of the Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities, where she focused on digitalization and data solutions, as well as forecaster in the strategic foresight platform of the Bertelsmann foundation.

Academic background:

  • MA in EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies (College of Europe, Brugge). EU-ENP scholarship awarded by the university.
  • Double degree in Law and International Relations (Pontifical University of Comillas ICADE, Madrid).
  • Academic Exchange at McGill University (Montreal), in the department of Political Sciences and Government.
